In the whirlwind of weddings and shared friends, Travis and Nicole’s path crossed more times than they could count. It all started when Nicole’s sister Lindsay married Travis’s best friend, Jonsen Carmack.

Suddenly, Travis and Nicole found themselves at the same parties, crossing paths again and again, yet nothing really sparked—until one fateful day when an Instagram like lit a little fire between the two.

However, the timing wasn’t quite right, and their initial chemistry dwindled. Fast forward to May 2022, Travis and Nicole were brought together yet again to celebrate the Wedding of Linday and Jonsen Carmack. This is when Travis and Nicole decided to embrace the moment and see where it would take them.

At the time Nicole was living in Manhattan Beach, and Travis was down in Costa Mesa. Weekend adventures soon followed, filled with time on Travis's boat and Nicole always bringing a good bottle of wine to share.

Their summer was a whirlwind of barbecues, fishing trips, Moonstone getaways, and endless date nights. Then, in November 2022, Nicole made the leap and moved in with her two cats, adding a dash of feline drama to their lives.

Suddenly, Travis went from bachelor to part of a family of five overnight! It took some adjusting, but soon Cooper and the kitties were one big happy (ish) family—if you know Melrose, you understand!

As they slowly built their lives together, love blossomed in all the right places. Then, in July 2024, during a fishing trip off the east end of Catalina, Travis surprised Nicole by getting down on one knee and asking the question that would change everything. It was a magical moment, one they both will cherish forever! They celebrated the weekend in Moonstone, surrounded by family and friends, soaking in the joy of their engagement.

As Travis and Nicole look forward to tying the knot in beautiful Newport Beach, their hearts are full of excitement. The choice of venue holds a special significance, as it was at the yacht club where their journey truly began with their first date. They can't wait to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends, creating new memories in a place that means so much to them.
